Acronyms - WTH is an ASW?
Hey you bloggers - do me a favor and shed some light on what an ASW is, will you?
According to the internet I have, it could be an AntiSubmarine Warfare, an Asset SWap, Application SoftWare, Anti-Spy-softWare, Ambrosia Software, Association of Scientific Workers, Approved Social Worker (that one?), A Small World (could be?), an Art Supply Warehouse, Artificial Sea Water, an Egyptian airport code, All Seems Well, Audits and Surveys Worldwide (or that one?), Average Surface Wind (sounds good, too), Address and Synchronisation Word, Auxiliary Sea- or SaltWater, an Administratives Services Workstation, an AirStrike Warning, an Asynchronous Service Window, Ammonia Scrubber Waste (yeah!), Automatic Switch to Working, an Axial Spin Wave, or even an Azimuthal Surface Wave.
I have no friggin clue. And neither do google, yahoo, or any other sites I searched.
p.s. WTH = What the hell or what the heck. The acronym with an F instead of the H would mean Worldwide Taekwondo Federation or Waking the Fallen or just plain Whiskey Tango Foxtrott. Sometimes it also just means Welcome To Finland.
