Russian Welcome Reception
by florian vogler :: blogging
Dear fellow internet friend,
The internet is an excellent forum to share information on the day's activities. As a single point of entry to this wonderful experience, I would herewith like to call out a Special Welcome Reception for all internet users from Russia here, right now (emphasize here, on this blog!).
The reception is open to all internet attendees and an informal and highly interactive environment that gives all attendees the opportunity to engage with one another in discussions about relevant, ongoing work and critical issues in key areas.
From the welcome reception, you may also wish to stroll over to PlanetLotus.org for further distraction.
On PlanetLotus.org, the posters program begins with a special session at the Welcome Reception. All posters will be on display and the authors will be present to meet with attendees and discuss their work. The reception gives conference attendees the chance to learn about work in many areas and about preliminary research results. Come meet your old friends and make some new ones.
This was in fact the first welcome reception text I could find whilst thinking about how to best attract more Russian visitors to my blog (thanks, Moscow, and welcome back!). If you know someone from Russia, please invite her/him/them to this Welcome Reception (= visit this blog). Whilst I may not be here personally (probably fast asleep, counting sheep as twitter knows (uh, the almighty), I am confident that my fellow bloggers will take care of any visitors stopping by and strolling over to PlanetLotus.org.
The main reason for this Welcome Receptionis to make this world a better place, is to grow together, is to actually fill the blank spots on my recent visitors map - that would also help growing together though, and make the world a better place for all of us!
Maybe some of my fellow bloggers care to institutionalize this Welcome Reception and make it a regular event (on my blog, of course).
Good night, good morning and good afternoon!
p.s. Next week it's South America - anyone care to help me organize the event?
p.p.s. Could anyone translate this for me (into Russian, just in case this isn't clear)? Might make the reception a little more of a success.
p.p.p.s. This reception is open until I close it.
p.p.p.p.s. Drinks are on me!
